A Research Technologist position is open in the lab.
Summary: Under the general supervision, performs clinical and/or research laboratory experiments by following established procedures and protocols or with instruction. Uses science knowledge to learn techniques/methods of the lab. Runs lab tests and completes measurements as assigned. Identifies and resolves common problems and uses analytical skills to implement assigned projects. Understands the role of senior lab members and accepts constructive guidance. Sets-up experiments based on defined standards. Collects and maintains project data.
There are multiple clinical collaborative projects in the lab. These projects are translational in nature, taking the approach of bench to bedside and vice versa. Interested students are encouraged to consider year-out opportunities.
Undergraduates who are able to commit for extended periods of time (beyond 1 year) are invited to inquire about opportunities in the lab.
